SEEK FOR SOMEONE FORFIVENESS

"Sorry for my wrongdoing towards you"

"Sorry,I didn't mean to hurt you this way"
"I am really sorry for what I have done"

Used to have similar scenes like that? Sorry - most commonly used words by self-centered people to reduce the feelings of guilty or to avoid offences perhaps. To be a truly forgiving for me is the hardest part ever. Pardon me,I'm just telling you the truth because the fact is not everyone attains strength to do that when somehow we know,we have been cheated, back stabbed or even disappointed.

Someone always remind me "Putri, when someone hurts you the way you dislike most, just turn around and keep smiling. That's just how life role." but certainly,I'm just ordinary girl who always bring along her scattered heart everywhere. Let thought for a moment, what is the use of law when word "sorry" can recover all the pain inside? What is the use of Al-Quran when "sorry" can brings down all of the sin we have done to fellow Muslim?

That's why Islam emphasize to us,do not irritate others or else you get a big problems instead. Forgiving does not erase the bitter past when someone said he/she had forgive you in spite. How comes word "sorry" being easily manipulated by offenders like nothing going to be happen? How pathetic people nowadays. Islam is perfect if we indeed discover the richness. It's not about grudge,a game that two can play, revenge or anything. It's about how to forgive and being forgiven.

I learned that sincere forgiveness isn't coloured with expectations that the other person apologize or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time - just like it does for you and me. The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: “Whoever is offered an apology from a fellow Muslim should accept it unless he knows that the person apologizing is being dishonest.” Mishkat Al Tabrizi, Vol 3, Hadith no. 5052.
